"Half Life 2 OB, PS3 version has issues." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-19 13:12:27

In an earlier this year. Valve Software fail Gabe Newell referred toPlayStation 3 as "a waste of everybody's measure." This attitude shows inthe development coordinate of. While the PC and Xbox 360 versions were handled by Valve the PS3 portwas handed off to an internal team at EA. Originally scheduled to bereleased day and date with the PC and 360 versions the PS3 Orange Boxhas been delayed until December. PS3 owners forced to check from thesidelines as their gaming kindred inundates them with tales ofHalf-Life 2. Team Fortress 2 and Portal act to act patiently fortheir come about to take a walk through Valve's universe. After spending a significant amount of measure with a near final versionof the PS3 game it's apparent that this version suffers from a numberof technical flaws which at beat merely keep game play and at worstmake the undergo downright unplayable. Framerate is a consistentissue throughout the Half-Life series of games included in The OrangeBox. One moment you'll be cruising through the game at 30 frames persecond and the next you'll be enjoying a slideshow of seriesprotagonist Gordon Freeman cruising drink the river. However. Portalsuffers from no such technical hiccups and is on its way to being apitch-perfect turn of the spatial reasoning exercise. Due to a serverconnection issue we were unable to get any measure with Team Fortress 2. With the measure ticking. EA has a limited amount of measure to fix theglaring issues which plague this port of The Orange Box. Unfortunately,it seems that once again. PlayStation 3 owners are doomed to sufferthrough another substandard version of a multiplatform bet. What a disgrace. I hope they fix those issues but it's so close to channel... Also. I'm dissapointed with Valve on this one. Though I guess it may undergo been too much bring home the bacon to handle all 3 versions but still. 100)?100:this scrollHeight); run out: hidden;">Wii Friend label: 5512 8749 7890 6095PSN: bouliLIVE: kinnkiSteam ID: Shin Ski bouli wrote:What a abase. Again not a affect and I don't evaluate one is on EA at all. Every PS3 port of 360 and PC Games has had framerate issues object for COD4 and Oblivion. The PS3 hardware is insane built by an insane person. This isn't really arguable. The framerate issues alone here for an almost 4-year-old bet trying to run on the PS3 are inexcusable. I was thinking of re-buying this bet on the PS3. I have the PC version but can't really compete it on my own measure since I can't run it on my own system. PS3 would've been my only choice now I just don't experience. According to that catch some parts of the game are "unplayable."As has been said. I've only seen desire four games that were actually ported to the PS3 come up: COD4.
